
19th STIRLING NORTH BOYS BRIGADE
Anchor Boys
Boys in Primary 2 & 3 gather on Tuesdays from 5.30p.m. – 6.30p.m. in the church halls. The leader in charge is Mrs Cathy Ritchie.
Activities include crafts, team games e.g. Dodgy ball
Uniform; red jumper with B.B. badge. Achievement Badges given annually.
Junior Section
Boys in Primary 4 , 5 & 6 meet on Fridays from 6.30 pm – 8 pm in the Church halls.
The Officer in charge is Allison O'Connor
Junior section – each year has its own badge work & achievements leading to a gold badge in the last year.
Parade at beginning of night with drill followed by either badminton, football or table tennis. In addition there are battalion competitions such as swimming, quiz night, 5 / 7 a-side football.
Uniform: Blue Jumper with B.B. badge.
Company Section
Boys from Primary 7 – 18 years of age meet on Fridays 8pm – 10pm in the church halls.
The Officer in charge is Mr Iain Harvey.
The company section has a wide age group therefore achievements and sport have to be arranged accordingly.
Uniform: blue shirt and boys brigade tie.
All officers have undergone police checkes through Disclosure Scotland and been interviewed by the church leadership.
The B.B. year runs from September through to May, finishing with the closing display, when badges and trophies are presented.
