Braehead playgroup has been running for 28 years in North Parish Church Hall. It has been a partnership playgroup with Stirling Council since 1999. The playgroup runs Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 12 noon and can take a maximum of 24, 3 to 5 year old children.

The playgroup is staffed by 2 fully trained playleaders and managed by a voluntary committee of parents on an annual basis.

The playgroup aims:

• to create a safe and happy environment
• to encourage self confidence and independence
• to develop social awareness
• to be aware of each child’s individual developmental needs and requirements
• to have a lot of fun
